(PHOTOS) Ryan Mason takes charge of first training session as Tottenham manager ahead of Manchester United clash

Ryan Mason was spotted at the training ground following his appointment as Caretaker coach of Tottenham.

If you recall that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy announced the sack of caretaker Christian Stellini after the team's poor performance.

Tottenham Hotspur were thumped 6-1 by Newcastle United at the St James Park over the weekend. 

It was Stellini last game in charge of Tottenham Hotspur and Ryan Mason, a former Spurs player has been named coach until the end of the season. 

It's been gathered that Tottenham will host Manchester United on Thursday night. 

The game will be Mason first game in charge of Spurs as they hope to secure their spot in the top six. 

It's also been revealed that Tottenham have confirmed Ryan Mason backroom staff. 

They include former Academy player and coach Matt Wells (Acting Assistant Head Coach) and current Academy coach Nigel Gibbs (Acting First Team Coach), alongside Perry Suckling (First Team Goalkeeping Coach) and Gianni Vio (Set Pieces Coach).
