It's It's been gathered Offset is paying a lasting homage to his late cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff.
Five months after Takeoff's passing, the rapper revealed his brand-new back-covering portrait tattoo on Instagram on Saturday. The tattoo features Takeoff (real name Kirsnick Khari Ball).
Offset is shown in the first image standing naked, slightly to one side so that his two huge necklaces and the terrible braids that are falling in front of him can be seen in part.
From his chest up to his face, Takeoff is shown in the tattoo. He is wearing multiple gold chains, a frame around his head and shoulders, a rocket, and a planet.
The bereaved rapper also shared a third image on his Instagram Stories in which he was seen standing squarely in front of the lens for the greatest possible look of the artwork.
According to Body Art Guru, Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) allegedly has 36 tattoos total, several of which are on his face and neck to complement the more conventional locations like his arms and legs where he has ink.
He even has many tattoos, including the name of his daughter "Kulture" over his left jawline, the word "blessed" above his right eyebrow, and the name of his wife Cardi B on his neck.
Offset seems to be paying tribute to his late relative for the first time via art in this video.
On November 1, 2022, three persons, including Takeoff, were shot in front of a bowling alley in Downtown Houston, Texas.
According to the police, at least two persons fired bullets during a fight over a game of dice; Takeoff was only "an innocent bystander," according to NPR.
The injuries sustained by the other two victims—a male and a woman—were not life-threatening.
The police have detained two suspects. On November 22, Cameron Joshua, 22, was arrested and accused of carrying a handgun without a permit. Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, was later detained and charged with murder in the early days of December.
