Rudi Garcia, the club's head coach, has amicably parted ways with Al Nassr, the club has stated.
Garcia resigned from his position as manager of the Saudi Arabian club after their Sunday 0-0 tie with Al Feiha.
Garcia was let go as a result of his strained relationships with the players, including Cristiano Ronaldo.
He recently challenged the players, which was an expensive action, and the Saudi Pro League team decided to fire him as a result.
During the game and following, Ronaldo was obviously upset with his teammates. He got into a fight with other players and then stormed down the tunnel.
A statement from the club on Thursday read: “Al-Nassr can announce that head coach Rudi Garcia has left the club by mutual agreement.
“The board and everyone at Al Nassr would like to thank Rudi and his staff for their dedicated work during the past eight months.”
After leaving Manchester United after a contentious interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December.
The 38-year-old scored 11 goals in 10 league games, but recently, he has also experienced frustration.
Garcia, on the other hand, had been in charge of the Saudi team since last summer and had led them to 16 victories in their first 23 league games, but those in authority seem to have taken the side of the disgruntled players by letting him go.
