Dele Alli, a former player for Tottenham Hotspur, uploaded a photo of himself recuperating in a hospital bed.

A image of DELE ALLI in a hospital bed after surgery for his hip injury has surfaced.

The 27-year-old Everton loanee, who has had a difficult season at Besiktas, was earlier this week declared ineligible for the remainder of the season.

The English international said his operation went well and that he would stop using social media to concentrate on getting back to playing football.

If you remember, Alli joined Besiktas on a season-long loan move from the Toffees last summer. His most recent appearance for Besiktas occurred at the end of February.

He has scored three goals in 15 games played for the Turkish team.

Alli has a contract with Everton till the conclusion of the next campaign.

Gunes, the Besiktas manager, accused Alli of skipping training last month, although Alli later explained on social media that the club had granted him permission to attend a doctor's visit.
