UEFA mocks Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich after 3-0 shock defeat to Man City

UEFA's live blog during Tuesday night's Champions League match seemed to make fun of Bayern Munich's choice to hire Thomas Tuchel.

In the first leg of their last-eight match at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City defeated the German champions 3-0 to go to the semifinals.

However, UEFA tweeted a statement in the 74th minute immediately before City scored it 2-0, which read: 'A penny for Julian Nagelsmann's thoughts right now...'

After the Bundesliga team mercilessly fired Julian Nagelsmann last month, it seemed to mock the organization.

Tuchel, a 49-year-old former manager of Borussia Dortmund, PSG, and Chelsea, was chosen to succeed him.

Although the first half was equally matched, City took the lead with a fantastic goal by Rodri after 27 minutes.

As City increased the pressure in the second half, a strong header from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland's 45th goal of an extraordinary season sealed a comfortable victory.
