William Saliba spotted riding a bike at gym as he continues recovery from back injury (Photos)

William Saliba has been photographed back in training at Arsenal. 

Although, it is unclear when he will return to play when the Gunners host Southampton on Friday. 

Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League may have received the greatest boost yet as defender William Saliba was sighted back in the gym at London Colney.

 Since losing to Sporting CP in the second leg of the Europa League semifinals, the France international has been suffering from a back injury.

It happened at the same time as Takehiro Tomiyasu was out for the season, forcing Rob Holding to fill in until Saliba's health could be clearly updated. There will be expectations that he will be able to play in the crucial championship match against Manchester City the following week, particularly in light of the team's two consecutive draws.

The clip was taken from a video uploaded on Mohamed Elneny's Instagram story showing him and Saliba exercising on the bikes in the club's gym. 

With the significant step being the switch to playing on grass, it is unclear whether that means the young player will be back in time to participate in the run-in.
