Chelsea fans have named their captain Cesar Azpilicueta a club legend, displaying his banner in their final game against Newcastle

Chelsea's last Premier League match of the year began against Newcastle United. 

The supporters displayed a banner in the stands to express their support for captain Cesar Azpilicueta. 

Thanks to Trippier's own goal, Chelsea and Newcastle United battled to a 1-1 draw to split the points in the season finale.

Fans held up a banner with images of Ceaser Azpilicueta on it. 

Today, the Chelsea supporters at Stamford Bridge stadium proudly raised a banner with the following message: "We'll just call you legend,"

Azpilicueta has won many trophies with Chelsea, including the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, and Champions League, and the team's supporters seem to already view him as a legend.

Azpilicueta's future at Chelsea is in doubt when a new manager takes over the team for the next campaign.
