DAAR Communications founder Raymond Dokpesi, a well-known member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has unfortunately gone away at the age of 71.
According to reports, the media magnate passed away in an Abuja hospital.
Dokpesi has been dealing with health problems ever since having a stroke immediately after the last Ramadan fast.
Despite his continued efforts to maintain his health, disaster occurred when he was at the gym as usual.
Additionally, Raymond Dokpesi and other family members were admitted to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital in 2020 after being given a COVID-19 diagnosis. Fortunately, they were able to recuperate and beat the illness.
Dokpesi developed African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM over his remarkable career, making a lasting impression on Nigeria's media scene.
