Following the Federal Court of Appeal's decision on their recent financial scandal, Juventus has been penalized 10 points in Serie A.
Right now, they've slipped outside of a European spot and are seventh in Serie A.
Remember that Juventus was first assessed a 15-point punishment in January, but that judgment was later reversed and the matter was reexamined by Italy's top sports court in April.
According to information obtained, the new rule was revealed on Monday, just before the team's away match against Empoli.
Juventus is now playing Empoli in Serie A, down 3-0 as of the time of this report.
Finally, Juventus' loss of points dropped them to seventh position in Serie A, outside of the slots for European qualifying.
