The Laureus World Sports Awards is an annual ceremony known as the Laureus Awards recognizes athletes for their dedication throughout the year.

The PSG star enjoyed a great year after he helped Argentina secured their third Fifa world cup.
Lionel Messi played a key role in the Argentine victory at the world cup in Qatar 2022.
Messi previously won the prize in 2020, sharing it with Lewis Hamilton. Verstappen won it last year, and Nadal won it twice, in 2011 and 2021. Although Mbappé, 24, hasn't won it yet, the rising star is certainly winning accolades quickly in his sporting career.
