Gabriel Martinelli, a forward for Arsenal, won't participate in another Premier League game this year.

The Gunners still have a weekend away game against Nottingham Forest and a home game against Wolves before the season is over.

Martinelli, who damaged his ankle ligaments, won't be eligible for selection, according to ESPN.

In the 20th minute of their 3-0 home loss to Brighton last Sunday, the 21-year-old hobbled off due to a Moises Caicedo tackle.

After the game, the Brazilian was spotted wearing a protective boot.

Martinelli, who has 15 league goals, is anticipated to be out for a number of weeks. But if his recuperation goes as planned and there are no setbacks, he should be ready for Arsenal's preseason in July.

On the other hand, Oleksandr Zinchenko is, also expected to be put due to a calf injury.

The 25 years old defender missed their defeat to Brighton last week and he is set to be out for remaining two games as well.

This weekend, Arsenal will go to Forest ground for their Premier League encounter against Steve Cooper's team on Saturday.
