Nigerian Senator Ike Ekweremadu and wife bags 9 years imprisonment in UK

Ike Ekweremadu, a former vice president of the Nigerian senate, has been given a nine years and eight months jail term by a British court for his role in an organ trafficking scheme.

The court also gave Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu a four-year, six-month term, while Dr. Obinna Obeta, the doctor who served as a "middleman" in the scheme, received a ten-year sentence and had his medical license suspended.
