City claimed victory after Bernardo Silva's two goals in the first half before Militao scored on an own goal and substitute Alvarez tacked on a late fourth.

It was an outstanding performance from the Portugal international who helped to control possession for his team.

After the game, a photo of Silva was posted on the official Twitter handle of UEFA Champions League with the caption which reads: "Star of the show 🌟"

Manchester City will now face Inter Milan in the final of UCL in Istanbul, Turkey.
