Riyad Mahrez reacts to becoming first African player to win five EPL titles

Riyad Mahrez, an Algerian attacker, has responded to being the first African athlete to win the English Premier League five times.

As a result of Arsenal's earlier loss to Nottingham Forest, the 32-year-old won the premier league championship for a record fifth time.

Manchester City won the title for the third time in a row after defeating Chelsea by a single goal at the Etihad.

Mahrez won his first English championship with Leicester City in 2016 and has since added four more while playing for Manchester City.

Mahrez has been a crucial member of Pep Guardiola's squad this year, and he has a chance to add the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup to his list of accomplishments before the season is out.
