It has been reported that Mikel Arteta is coaching Smith Rowe Granit Xhaka role at Arsenal.


The young 22 years old midfielder has struggled to get into Mikel Arteta team this season.

Martin Odegaard, the captain of the team has kept Smith-Rowe out of the team due to his impressive performance for the Gunners.

London Football reports on In order to teach Smith Rowe a more complex role, Arteta has him practicing in center midfield.



Smith Rowe may benefit from Arteta's prior success in transferring David Silva to Manchester City.

If you recall that last season, Emilie Smith-Rowe scored 10 goals in the league but so far,groin injury at the start of the campaign kept him out of weeks.
