What Bella Silva said after her husband Thiago Silva was named Chelsea player of the season

Thiago Silva has been chosen Chelsea's player of the season for the 2022-23 season.

 Following their last home game against Newcastle United on Sunday at Stamford Bridge stadium, the defender was given the accolade. 

In his third season with the club, Brazilian defender Thiago Silva has once again been a key player for the Blues, continuing to defy his age by providing a cool-headed and knowledgeable presence in the heart of Chelsea's defense.

But after receiving his most recent honor, his stunning and contented wife, Belle Silva, who was at Stamford Bridge to cheer for Blues star and her husband, has responded on social media.

The Chelsea Player of the Season trophy was given to Brazilian star and Chelsea defender Thiago Silva before Chelsea's last Premier League match of the season against Newcastle United on Sunday night at Stamford Bridge.

After Willian received it in 2016, Thiago Silva is the second Brazilian athlete to do so.

On her Instagram account, Belle Silva posted a little video of her husband accepting the 2022–23 Chelsea player of the season award. She wrote: "Best of the season 22/23"
