"Where you go I will go, where you stay I will stay! Your people will be my people" - Wife of Roberto Firmino pens emotional support for him on his final game for Liverpool

The wife of Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, Lari Firmino, has sent a touching letter to her husband.

The Brazilian helped Liverpool tie 1-1 with Aston Villa on Saturday at Anfield in his last appearance for the club.

The Brazilian scored in the 89th minute to earn a point for Jurgen Klopp's team and cap out his time at Liverpool in style.

Throughout his tenure at Anfield, Firmino has more than often risen to the occasion to save the Reds from turmoil, and Lari has always been there in situations like that.

The Brazilian lady reaffirmed her love for the Brazilian foreigner on Instagram.

She pledged to follow the player wherever he went, adding that only death could separate them. According to her, the couple's deaths would occur simultaneously.

“Love, my prayer today is that you will receive the honour due you. And that you lay it at the feet of Jesus. All the words that have come out of my mouth these past few days are the truest,” she wrote, quoting some verses of the bible.

After the Reds' last home game of the season, Roberto Firmino broke down in tears as he bid farewell to the Liverpool fans on Saturday afternoon.

She added: “Where you go I will go, where you stay I will stay! Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God! Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me with all severity if anything other than death separates me from you!”
