Jose Mourinho has explained the reason he didn't celebrate his team's qualification into the final of the Europa.

The Portuguese manager guided Roma to the final of the Europa League after they knocked out Bayern Leverkusen.

Speaking after the match, the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss said he respected Xabi Alonso coach of Leverkusen.
Mourinho once managed Alonso while he was playing football at Real Madrid. The tactician said that he still has slog of respect for Alonso whom he called his friend.

Although, Roma played a goalless draw in Germany but their first leg 1-0 win in Italy last week was enough for their aggregate scoreline in favour of the Serie A side.

It's the second final of European competition that Jose Mourinho will be taking Roma under two years.

Meanwhile Roma will now face Sevilla on the final after Spanish side defeated Juventus 2-1 with aggregate of 3-2.

If you recall Jose Mourinho guided Roma to win the maiden edition of the Europa Conference League last season when they defeated Feyenoord in the final.
