Pep Guardiola received congratulations from the Barcelona football club after winning his first Champions League championship with Manchester City.

In his managerial career, the Spanish coach won the UCL championship three times, although this was his first as Manchester City's manager.

The Citizens defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in the final of the tournament to win the UEFA Champions League trophy for this season.

In the 67th minute, Rodrigo gave Man City their first goal thanks to a strike from the outside of the box after a wonderful ball from Bernado Silva.

After winning it twice with Barcelona, Pep Guardiola was thrilled to win the European competition.

Remember that he hasn't won the Champions League trophy since his victory in 2011—his second at Barcelona. He's come only close once, falling short against Chelsea in the final in 2021.

The Guardiola team won it in style this season, atoning for their heartbreak from the previous year.

Barcelona, meanwhile, posted a picture of Pep Guardiola winning the UCL when he was in charge of the Camp Nou team along with the phrase, "Once a champion, always a champion"
