A fan received José Mourinho's runner-up medal.

For the first time ever, a Portuguese coach lost a club tournament final. 

In a 4-1 penalty shootout, Sevilla defeated Roma on Wednesday night in Budapest. 

Mourinho's squad took the lead in the first half thanks to Paulo Dybala, but Roma tied the score in the second half thanks to a Mancini own goal. 

After 120 minutes of play without a goal, Sevilla won the tournament for the seventh time in a penalty shootout to settle the match. 

While this was happening, Jose Mourinho, who seemed upset over the loss, was spotted throwing his runners-up medal on the ground. 

The young fan who was grinning alongside his father, was fortunate to earn the award.
