Alex Iwobi named Everton player of the 2022-23 season after he helped Toffees survive relegation

Alex Iwobi, a Super Eagles player, has been awarded the Everton FC Players "Player" of the season for the just-completed campaign.

The Nigerian attacker moved from Arsenal to Everton in 2019, and he went on to enjoy a breakthrough season with the Toffees in 2022–2033. 

The Nigerian midfielder earned the prize as chosen by the club's players in Merseyside. 

Everton averted being demoted from the Premier League thanks in large part to Alexander Iwobi. 

Iwobi was further the team's most inventive player, helping the team achieve top-flight safety by scoring twice and setting up eight other goals.
