Anita Brown, a businesswoman from the United States, has claimed she was unaware that Nigerian singer Davido was married when she accused him of having an affair with her and refused to acknowledge the pregnancy.
She revealed this in a video posted on Tuesday night to her Instagram account.
She met the musician in 2017 while she was in Dubai, and Brown said in a series of videos uploaded on her Instagram page that they dated intermittently up until the epidemic, during which time she was in a "long" relationship.
In September 2018, she also uploaded videos of herself backstage at one of Davido's performances.
In the video, she claimed to not be aware of his marriage, claiming
She said,"And what really kills me is this married man narrative that y'all are dragging. I did not know he was married.
“Go to his page; does it look like he is married? Like I am confused, you know, RIP to the child, like people knew about the baby, but nobody knew he got married.
“I am in America, nobody here knows, sorry, sorry, nobody knows, nobody knows.”
