Austria vs Belgium: Real Madrid duo of David Alaba and Courtois spotted showing respect for each other after their Euro qualifiers game

The Group F European Championship 2024 qualifiers between Ralf Rangnick's team and Belgium ended in a 1-1 tie on Saturday night at the Stade Roi Baudouin, snapping Belgium's amazing winning run in the preliminary matches.

Orel Mangala's own goal gave Austria the lead before the game had reached the 21st minute, but Romelu Lukaku, the night's captain of the Belgium national team, made sure the home side earned a draw by tying the score in the 61st.

Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper for Belgium, and David Alaba, the captain for Austria, were both Real Madrid colleagues. 

However, following the final whistle in the UEFA Euro qualifiers between Belgium and Austria, they were seen embracing one another and showing respect for one another.

The footballers enjoyed a great season playing for Real Madrid in Spain. 

Alaba who is the captain of Austria, won the Copa del Rey trophy with Real Madrid along with Courtois this season.
