Neymar Jr. has used social media to bid goodbye to his teammate Lionel Messi.

After his contract expired, the 35-year-old left Parc des Princes as an unrestricted free agent. 

Lionel Messi played his farewell match against Clermont yesterday night, according to PSG, which resulted in a 3-2 loss for Christopher Galtier's team. 

Neymar shared a black and white photo of Lionel Messi and him standing inside the locker room. 

The Brazilian spoke about how it had been two years since he had partnered with the Argentine international. 

Then, Neymar revealed his dissatisfaction with PSG's failure to win the UEFA Champions League during their two seasons in France. 

He captioned the images, "Brother... it didn't turn out as we thought but we tried everything. It was a pleasure to share 2 more years with you.Good luck in your new stage and be happy. I love you"
