England coach, Gareth Southgate says Trent Alexander-Arnold will wear England's No 10 and play in midfield

Trent Alexander-Arnold might stay in the midfield for the England national team, according to Gareth Southgate.

In their Euro Qualifiers encounter against Malta, the Liverpool star wore the number 10 jersey for England.

You may remember that on Friday night, the Three Lions of England trounced Malta 4-0.

In addition to Harry Kane and Callum Wilson's penalties, Trent Alexander-Arnold scored one of the goals.

Trent Alexander-Arnold may start more games in the midfield, according to Southgate, who made the comment after the game. 

The Liverpool defender's position was discussed with the England coach regarding altering the team.
