The Argentine international has reportedly made the decision to sign with Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer.
Although returning to Barcelona had been suggested, this didn't happen due to the Blaugrana's financial difficulties.
Additionally, it was reported that Lionel Messi turned down a relocation to Saudi Arabia after deciding to settle in the United States.
He admitted in interviews with Mundo Deportivo and Sport that he wasn't happy at PSG.
Messi said that while playing for PSG, he missed several opportunities to spend time with his children.
The former Barcelona star said: "There were two years in which I was not happy,
did not enjoy myself, and that affected my family life. I missed a lot of my children’s lives at school."
