Ilkay Gundogan and Robert Lewandowski will reconnect in Barcelona. 

The next season, Ilkay Gundogan would reunite with Lewandowski at the Camp Nou. 

This occurs after the German international successfully completed his free transfer to Barcelona. 

Following his departure from Manchester City due to his contract expiring, Gundogan has been introduced as Xavi Hernandez's newest acquisition. 

It has been nine years since Gundogan and Lewandowski last shared the field at Dortmund.
