Manchester City and Josko Gvardiol have reached an agreement on personal details of a contract.
Gvardiol will take Aymeric Laporte's position at the Etihad Stadium before to Laporte's anticipated departure.
This comes after the Premier League champions have "now agreed personal terms with Josko Gvardiol," according to a report from transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known sports writer reported that talks are now taking place between clubs.
Fabrizio Romano said that RB Leipzig would not sell Gvardiol for less than €100m and that they intend to retain him.
