Kalidou Koulibaly becomes highest paid African footballer after move to Saudi Arabia Club Al Hilal

Following his transfer to Saudi Arabia, Kalidou Koulibaly has become the highest-paid African player. 

The international Senegal player signed with Al Hilal before completing his transfer to the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

The former Napoli defender moved to Al Hilal, where he will earn £412,000 weekly. 

Kalidou Koulibaly quit Chelsea after playing in England for one season. At the beginning of the 2022–23 campaign, he transferred to the Blues from Napoli. 

On the list of African players with the highest salaries, Mohamed Salah came in at number two. 

At Liverpool, the football player from Egypt presently earns £350,000 a week.

 Pierre-Emerick After receiving a big contract from Arsenal in 2022, Aubameyang was cut. After extending his contract, the 31-year-old became the highest paid player at Arsenal, but his tenure there lasted only two years until he had a falling-out with Mikel Arteta. 

He joined Barcelona when Arsenal terminated his contract last year, but he then returned to the Premier League and joined Chelsea in January 2023. 

Last but not least, former Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o earned £350,000 in 2011 while playing for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. 

Only two seasons were spent by Eto'o with the Russian team.
