Kanye West has refurbished his Chicago boyhood home, which now includes a moving monument to his mother, Donda West.
In a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the rapper and his then-wife Kim Kardashian, 42, visited the house with their nine-year-old daughter North.
After undergoing a thorough renovation, Kanye's boyhood house now has a new roof, a black steel gate, and security cameras all around the building.
Kanye, 46, has already completed the renovations on the once-foreclosed home on Chicago's south side.
The renovated 1,600 square foot, three-bedroom, one-bath home where the creator of Yeezy and his late mother resided in during the 1980s is surrounded by a black steel fence.
Kanye has engraved the letters "DH" — which stand for "Donda's House" — on both the front and the driveway gate as a touching homage to his mother.
