Lionel Messi nets fastest goal under 1 minute as Argentina defeated Australia 2-0

Lionel Messi of Inter Miami scored the quickest goal of his career as Argentina overcame Australia in a friendly match. 

The Argentina great, Lionel Messi, scored an incredible goal for his nation against Australia in only 80 seconds of play. 

Messi punished Australia for allowing him an area of open space on the outside of the area by scoring low past Mat Ryan.

Argentina then increased their lead in the 68th minute when Pezzella made it 2-0. 

Since joining MLS team Inter Miami, Lionel Messi is taking part in his first game.
