Kyle Walker, a defender for Manchester City, was absent from Tuesday's practice.
Walker's availability for this weekend's Champions League final is suddenly Pep Guardiola's main concern.
The England player is coping with a back issue that he developed during Saturday's FA Cup final.
Walker was replaced in the last seconds of Wembley's 2-1 victory against Manchester United.
Before the final of the Champions League versus Inter in Istanbul on Saturday, he has to demonstrate his fitness in a battle against time.
“He had a disturbance in his back. Yesterday [Monday], he was not good, and today he was a little bit better.
“We didn’t want to take a risk, and we will see what happens in the next days,” Guardiola told a news conference on Tuesday.
