Arsenal and Moises Caicedo of Brighton are said to have "agreed on personal terms."
Chelsea is still circling, however, attempting to sabotage the transaction for the Ecuadorian midfielder.
In the upcoming summer transfer window, Caicedo is eager to leave Brighton.
In the January transfer window, Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, authorized a club record offer of more than £70 million for Caicedo.
However, the transfer never happened because Brighton wouldn't part with the 21-year-old.
Caicedo has reportedly 'reached personal terms' with Arsenal, who are still interested in signing him ahead of the 2023–2024 season, according to Metro UK.
Brighton is looking to get at least £80 million for Caicedo, but the club in North London still has to negotiate a cost with them.
