Nigerian star Victor Osimhen becomes first African footballer to win golden boot award in Serie A

Victor Osimhen wins the Golden Boot, making him the first African football player in Serie A history.

With a total of 26 goals, the Nigerian striker was the leading scorer in Serie A in 2022–2023. 

In Napoli's season-ending match against Sampdoria on Sunday night, Victor Osimhen scored. 

Sampdoria was beaten by Luciano Spalletti 2-0 thanks to Oshimen's penalty goal.
