Oleksandr Zinchenko of Arsenal could be likely to miss the Community Shield encounter against Manchester City due of his participation in a charity game the same weekend.

After City defeated Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday, Pep Guardiola's team will play Arsenal in the season opener on Sunday, August 6.

In a preseason friendly known as the Community Shield, the Premier League champions and FA Cup winners face off.

As a result, Arsenal will face City at Wembley, but Zinchenko—who is scheduled to participate in a charity game the day before—might not be available.

Game 4 Ukraine, a contest between Zinchenko and another Ukrainian star Andriy Shevchenko, will take place at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium on Saturday, August 5, the day before the Community Shield.

The game is being held to collect money to support the reconstruction of Ukraine's facilities and infrastructure in the wake of Russia's invasion last year and the continuing conflict.

Zinchenko will be apprehensive about leaving the charity game that he helped plan.

The 26-year-old has attempted to represent his nation via sport when many others his age are fighting on the front lines in Ukraine.
