Joselu, a former Castilla player, is reportedly returning to Madrid on loan from Espanyol.
Joselu spent the season with the demoted Espanyol, but he will play for Real Madrid in the upcoming campaign.
Despite Espanyol being demoted, the Spanish striker scored 17 goals in LaLiga Santander last season.
Next season, the 33-year-old striker will represent Real Madrid by donning jersey number 14.
Along with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, he was seen posing with the team's jersey.
The 33-year-old rejoins the organization where, from 2009 to 2012, he spent most of his time playing for Castilla, the B team.
Although Joselu only participated in two games for Jose Mourinho's first team during that year, he hopes to be a squad member in 2023–2024.
In addition to Hoffenheim, he also played for Eintracht Frankfurt, Hannover, Stoke City, Deportivo La Coruna, Newcastle, Alaves, and Espanyol.
He has accumulated 148 goals and 39 assists in 470 career appearances for a professional team.
