Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo of Real Madrid have each received a new shirt number for the next campaign.
According to reports, Vincius Jr. will fill Eden Hazard's renowned No. 7 jersey at Real Madrid.
While Marco Asensio, who has also left the club, was assigned jersey number 11, Rodrygo has now taken it.
Fran Garcia, the first player signed by Real Madrid for the 2023–24 season and given the number 20 jersey, was officially announced earlier today.
If you'll remember, since Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio left the team, shirts 7 and 11 have been empty.
Having spent four years at the Santiago Bernabéu, Eden Hazard's contract was cancelled, while Asensio's contract had already expired when he departed the club.
Vinicius Junior has been given the legendary number 7, which was once worn by Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul, while Rodrygo has being given the number 11, which was formerly belonged to Gareth Bale.
