Real Madrid have decided to terminate Eden Hazard contract after four years at Bernabéu scoring just 7 goals from 76 games played

Eden Hazard's contract with Real Madrid has been mutually decided to be terminated; it will now expire on June 30.

The Belgian international will be permitted to depart the Santiago Bernabéu, according to the Los Blancos. 

After four seasons at Real Madrid, during which time he won multiple titles, Eden Hazard has decided to quit the Los Blancos. 

If you remember, Eden Hazard transferred from Chelsea to Real Madrid in 2019 for an estimated price of £100 million. 

As he fought ailments and his level of fitness on game days, Hazard found it difficult to live up to expectations. 

The former Chelsea playmaker reportedly played 76 games overall but only managed to score seven goals. 

This Saturday, Eden Hazard will play against Athletic Bilbao in his farewell match for Real Madrid. 

Real Madrid confirmed with the statement which reads: “Real Madrid C. F. and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement by which the player is disassociated from the club as of June 30, 2023”, club announces.
