Sadio Mane has spoken out about the remarkable altercation he had with Leroy Sane last year.
When addressing media in his country, he said: 'This kind of things can happen. It happened. We were able to solve this small problem.
After a 3-0 loss to Man City at the Etihad in April, the former Liverpool star—who was recently named the most disappointing player in the Bundesliga last season—attacked his Bayern Munich teammate, striking him in the face.
He received a £250,000 fine from the club, the most in their history, and a one-game suspension as a result.
Teammates had to separate Sane and the bleeding player in the tunnel.
As they limped off the field after losing the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal, they were seen bickering on the field.
The two looked to put their differences behind them, with Sane apparently pleading with the club not to fire the Senegal winger.

'Sometimes it's good to solve problems, but maybe not in this way. It's behind us now. We'll try to fight together to help the club achieve its goals next season.
'I'm on vacation with the family. It was a very complicated season, it happens. It wasn't a surprise, I expected things to be a bit complicated. It's normal.
'I love challenges, and Bayern is a big challenge. It's up to me to do everything to meet this challenge.'
Mane, who left Liverpool for £35 million, has been linked to a departure this summer following a lackluster debut campaign in Germany.
