Milan expressed their joy at being able to reveal the arrival of Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze from Villarreal CF in a statement on their website. The Nigerian attacker has agreed to a five-year contract with the Rossoneri, which runs until June 2028.
Chkuwueze, who was born on May 22, 1999, in Umuahia, Nigeria, played in the Diamond Football Academy Youth Sector before transferring to Villarreal in 2017.
Prior to making his senior team debut in September 2018, he appeared in 20 games and scored four goals for the Spanish club's B squad. Since then, he has appeared in 207 games, scored 37 goals, and won one Europa League.
The journey also indicates that the 24-year-old has chosen to don the No. 21 jersey. He has 28 caps for Nigeria and four goals to his name.
