Arsenal have made Kai Havertz their highest-paid player on £330k-a-week

Kai Havertz, whose weekly salary is £330,000 at Arsenal, just became the team's top earner.

Following his transfer from Chelsea, Kai Havertz has become Arsenal's highest-paid player. According to a report, he will make almost £330,000 per week at the Emirates.

Declan Rice is also set to earn a comparable figure after he completes his anticipated transfer to the Emirates this summer, according to a report from Sport Bild.

Before the summer season started, few Arsenal supporters would have even thought about Kai Havertz as a possible transfer target. 

The 24-year-old was a middling addition to Chelsea's roster. Therefore, Mikel Arteta's guys pushing for a £65 million deal caught everyone off guard.

With a salary of over £330,000 per week (about €20 million annually), Havertz is now Arsenal's highest-paid player.
