David Raya, a goalkeeper for Brentford, is being attracted by Arsenal, which wants to hire him to challenge Aaron Ramsdale for the starting job.

David Raya, a goalkeeper for Brentford, is the most recent player to be connected to an Arsenal summer move.

Although Mikel Arteta's team still seems to be spending money, the north Londoners have already spent more than £200 million to sign Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber during the summer transfer window. The Athletic claims that the Arsenal are eager to get a new goalkeeper to challenge current starter Aaron Ramsdale.

Raya has yet to receive a bid from the Bees, despite recent rumors linking him to other teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich.

Since joining the Bees in 2019, Raya has made 161 appearances, earning clean sheets on 54 of those occasions.

Just two years after he signed, the club's efforts in goal helped it move up from the Championship to the Premier League.

David Raya would rather transfer to Arsenal than Bayern.

Bayern Munich was said to be interested in signing the Spanish goalkeeper earlier in the day.

However, Bayern Munich rejected their offer to loan David Raya to them despite the Bavarians' desire.
