Cristiano Ronaldo has invested in the internet marketplace Chrono24 as he continues to pursue his obsession for high-end timepieces.

Ronaldo purchased an unknown stake in the business, according to Chrono24, which then revealed that he is now a shareholder.

Tim Stracke, the company's co-chief executive and founder, and the 38-year-old, who currently represents Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, posed for a photo on Instagram.

Ronaldo, who signed a £175 million contract with Al-Nassr, is well known for his collection of expensive timepieces. His stash is currently worth about $5 million, and he also has a fleet of supercars worth £18 million.
