"Don't disrespect my wife" - Adekunle Gold respond to Brymo comment about desire to sleep with his wife, Simi

Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian Afrobeats musician, confronted Brymo after the latter spoke about his interaction with Simi and accused him of insulting his wife.

Brymo, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and novelist, said in a tweet that he declined to work with Simi. 

Brymo said that the reason for this was because she wouldn't sleep with him and that he had previously rejected Adekunle Gold as well.

Adekunle Gold responded by advising Brymo to get treatment from a professional and deal with the deeper issues that would have caused him to say such things.

“Don’t disrespect my wife and my family. Get help!”, He wrote on his Twitter timeline 

Meanwhile, Brymo's remarks have caused controversy on social media, with numerous supporters and internet users denouncing him for endorsing a negative workplace atmosphere and demeaning women.

Some have also demanded that Simi come out about her experience and that he be made to answer for his deeds.
