The Pep Guardiola team is presently on a preseason trip in Japan.

The reigning Premier League winners are preparing for their season's campaign.

Pep Guardiola will be hoping that his squad can hold onto all three trophies they won last year, consisting of the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.

Manchester City defeated Yokohama Marino 5-2 on Sunday afternoon after trailing down by two goals.

In the second half, Erling Haaland scored twice after coming off the bench. Prior to Rodri's goal, John Stones and Julian Alvarez had pulled City 2-2.

The 22-year-old striker was then brought into the game, and he instantly scored two goals.

Haaland received a cheque after the match for being named Man of the Match against the Yokohama F. Marinos.

Haaland was seen posing with a massive checkbook that contained an astounding sum of 1 million yen, equivalent almost 6 million naira at the current exchange rate.
