The 31-year-old Brazilian forward's contract with Liverpool terminated at the conclusion of the last campaign, making him a free agent.
Following his 2015 transfer from Hoffenheim to the Reds, Firmino scored 111 goals in 362 appearances.
He joins Senegal goalie Edouard Mendy at Al-Ahli after the latter departed Chelsea last week. He is one of numerous high-profile players that Saudi Arabian teams have signed this summer.
This summer, James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Firmino all departed Liverpool as free agents.
He inspired Reds won the Champions League in 2019, the Premier League in 2020, the FA Cup and League Cup in 2022 by teaming up with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to form a lethal attacking combination.
In December 2019, Liverpool defeated Flamengo and won the Fifa Club World Cup for the first time thanks in part to a goal by Firmino in extra time.
He would be departing the team at the conclusion of the current campaign, it was confirmed in March.
