The second tranche of the list will be released shortly, according to the president's chief of staff Femi Gbajabiamila. Gbajabiamila further said that President Tinubu will divide portfolios, reorganize ministries, and establish new ministries.
Gbajabiamila's list of 28 ministry nominations was sent to the National Assembly on Thursday and read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
According to Gbajambiamila, who provided an overview of President Tinubu's list of ministers, the second batch would be published shortly and additional ministries will be established, according to the Daily Trust.
According to Gbajabiamila, the president personally screened each candidate before selecting them. He said that this was a step in the process of forming a cabinet for the government and that a second phase, consisting of 13 names, will be forwarded to the assembly.
