One of the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party is Seyi Makinde, who was re-elected governor of Oyo State in March 2023.

 The politically astute gladiator with a gentle voice is one of the most admired and adored politicians in the nation. 

Engineer Seyi Makinde, the executive governor of Oyo State, responded when he placed a flower on the tomb of his late father, Olatubosun Makinde.
