“I am going to miss seeing you around brother"- Thomas Partey sends message to Granit Xhaka after move to Leverkusen

Thomas Partey used his social media account to publicly say goodbye to Granit Xhaka.

If you recall, the 31-year-old midfielder finished last week by signing with Bayern Leverkusen. 

As the first player to be sold during the current transfer window, Switzerland was acquired by Arsenal from Leverkusen for 21 million euros. 

Partey admitted that he would miss partnering with Xhaka in the Arsenal midfield. 

Following Granit Xhaka's departure from Arsenal, Thomas Partey wrote on Instagram, “I am going to miss seeing you around brother ❤️❤️” #afc

However, with a move abroad, Partey's future at Arsenal is still uncertain. 

It's been said that Arsenal will consider Thomas Partey's transfer request from other clubs this summer. 

The former Atletico Madrid player appeared content to stay with the north London team, though. 

Prior to preseason games, Thomas Partey returned to training and appeared to be in good spirits.
