The player was interested in joining Arsenal, who were leading the race, but Mikel Arteta's team was unable to meet the club's transfer worth.
Mykhailo Mudryk has had performance issues since joining Chelsea, and both Graham Potter and Frank Lampard benched him at times.
However, former PSG coach Pochettino said he would like to visit the player to talk to him about his playing style before the preseason.
Pochettino said: “I am going to meet Mudryk before he comes to pre-season”.
“I really like to see and to know him, and then to design the best strategy to help him to be at the level that Chelsea expect”.
Mykhailo Mudryk, who just competed in the Euros U21, is anticipated to rejoin his Chelsea teammates soon.
